Police want to speak to man after bottles of champagne stolen from Whitby Co-op
Police are hunting a champagne-loving thief who struck at a Whitby store.
The culprit made off with two bottles of Pol Roger champagne - valued at £80 in total - from the Co-op on Langborne Road between 12.30pm and 12.55pm on Tuesday.
Officers believe the same man returned to the store later the same day and was challenged by staff.
Police are keen to speak to the man in the photo and are urging anyone who recognises him to call police via 101, select option two, and ask for Jonathan Formstone.
