Thieves steal large metal gate from village car park in Thornton-le-Dale

Thieves have stolen a large metal gate from the main car park in Thornton-le-Dale.

The gate was taken from the public car park at Malton Gate sometime between 7.30pm on Saturday and 7am on Sunday.

Police are urging anyone with information that might help with their investigation to come forward, particularly if anyone who saw people acting suspiciously near the gate.
