Fitness fanatic David Baldwin is donning his running shoes for last-minute training as he prepares for a Great British sporting challenge.
This Sunday he’ll be pounding 26.2 miles along the capital city streets in the London Marathon to raise funds for Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
He said: “I chose to run for St Catherine’s Hospice in praise of the good work they do within our community.
“We all know someone who has had experience of the care the hospice provides.
“I am looking forward to the London Marathon; not only will it be a personal challenge but also a great atmosphere with everyone joining together to run for their charities.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank family, friends and work colleagues at Schnieders for their sponsorship.”
Anyone wishing to sponsor David can do so directly to the hospice www.stcatherineshopsice-nyorks.org, quoting David Baldwin/London Marathon.
