Dinner dance celebration for tourism work

As part of the efforts to support the bringing together and promotion of the whole of the Yorkshire Coast, Scarborough Hospitality Association is holding its first Yorkshire Coast Hospitality Dinner Dance.

The Association is working in partnership with the Bridlington Tourism Association, The Coastal Tourism Advisory Board, Welcome to Yorkshire and the two Councils of East Riding and Scarborough Borough for the event

The bodies have already collaborated on a number of initiatives and have also joined forces to hold a new annual business-to-business trade fayre to be held at the Scarborough Spa on Sunday 6 March.

For the first time ever, all four mayors from Scarborough Borough, Bridlington, Whitby and Filey will come together to celebrate the work of the partnership.

In addition to this Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Sir Gary Verity will also be attending as the special guest.

Shirley Smith, president of the Scarborough Hospitality Association, said: “We are delighted with the work that the various partnerships have achieved over the last two years and we believe that holding an annual dinner dance for all partners to come together is the perfect way to celebrate its achievements.”
