A Scarborough care home enjoyed a double celebration for National Care Home Open Day.
St Cecilia’s on Stepney Road, Scarborough, opened its doors to mark the national open day.
At the same time, the home was celebrating after receiving a “good” rating after its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission.
During the open day the home welcomed special guests, including the mayor and mayoress, performers from the STJ OutReach team, Sing-along-Steve and others.
Acting care home manager Donna Henderson said: “For the fourth year running Care Home Open Day has been a tremendous success for us.
“We had some wonderful special guests who provided excellent, stimulating activities and fun for the residents and it was also great to welcome the Mayor and other visitors who joined us during the day.”
