The crew checked no one else had been cut off and that some kayakers at Thornwick Bay did not need any help before being stood down.

Filey RNLI volunteers were also called out yesterday afternoon to a broken down jet ski.

The team were deployed at around 2.30pm and towed the jet ski to the beach.
