FUNDRAISING took centre stage at a charity fashion show.
The sell out event saw local models strut their stuff on the catwalk while raising money for Scarborough Lions.
Clothes for the show, at St Laurence’s Community Rooms, were provided by Objdar, in St Nicholas Street.
The event also featured a raffle, food, entertainment and wine.
Ann Golder, who sits on the Lions fundraising committee and organised the event said: “It was absolutely brilliant. The event was sell out and everyone had a great time.”
Compere for the evening was Tamra Marshall of Objdar. She added: “It was a raving success. It is the first one we have done and we were really busy the day after. It was a great boost for us following the glowing report we received from the Calendar Girls when they visited.”
Thanks were paid to Tony Gibson for supplying pork pies and sausage rolls, Morrisons for sponsoring the wine, and the Wensleydale Cheese.
