Drug dealers who skipped court could be in Scarborough, say police

Police are appealing for help in their hunt for two drug dealers they suspect are in Scarborough.

Paul Daniel Heaton, 26, of Sidney Road, Manchester and Sonny Elms, 24 of Mansfield Avenue, Manchester, both failed to attend York Crown Court on February 1.

They were due to be sentenced for the supply of class A drugs in Scarborough.

Officers have carried out searches in the Manchester area and believe that the pair could now be in the Scarborough area.

They are appealing to anyone who has seen them or knows of their current whereabouts to contact them.

A police spokesman said: "Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.

"If you have an immediate sighting of them, please do not approach them but call the police on 999.

"If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
