YOU can’t accuse these lads of being spongers!
Scalby School students Joel Hunter and Luke Haddington got their hands dirty to raise money for a huge global adventure.
The Year 10 pupils washed 19 staff cars to make £50 each towards their World Challlenge visit to Jordan in 2013.
The pair need to raise £500 each by May 1 and are well on their way to meeting their target.
Luke has been selling items on eBay and both lads have been earning cash by doing jobs at home and putting their savings towards the cost of the trip.
However, they are both still looking for an after-school job to help boost their coffers.
