The 57th annual Scalby Walk is set to take place on Easter Monday - with participants being encouraged to sign up and join in the fun.
The event on March 28 starts at the Nags Head in Scalby with registration from 9am. The walk itself starts at 10.30am.
Entry is £10 for seniors and £5 for juniors aged 14 to 18 years.
The popular event is organised by Scalby Fair Committee. A spokesman said: “The walk is a circular route between Scalby and Cloughton, involving the partaking of liquid - alcoholic or otherwise - in several pubs.
“The walk is marshalled until 2pm – walkers have occasionally been known to become ‘lost’ in one of the pubs!”
All proceeds go to a chosen charity, with past walks raising £2,250 for the YMCA, £1,650 for Ellie’s Fund Brain Tumour Trust and £1,300 for Scalby Cricket and Football clubs.
Entry forms and rules are available from the Nags Head and participants can register on the day.
Walkers are welcome to come in fancy dress and there are prizes to be won.
The event attracts groups of friends, family members and colleagues - often in creative and themed fancy dress costumes.
The walk will be followed by fun, food and music at the pub with results and presentations at 4pm.
This year all the proceeds will be donated to St Catherine’s Hospice.
