CHILDREN enjoyed a trip out with a ride on the North Bay Railway and fun and games on the beach.
Glenda Hodgson, of Dovecote Playgroup in Dean Road, said: “We do it every year. We take the children to Scalby Mills on the train then have an ice cream and play games on the beach.
“The kids always love it. They have a great time on the train, especially when they go through the tunnel.”
The children were given a talk on road safety by their local lollipop lady before setting off on the trip, accompanied by staff and parents.
The ice cream was paid for by MKM building supplies.
