RAVEN return to Beiderbecke’s next week, a month after a sell-out show up north.
The unkindness are hoping Beiderbecke’s will become a regular town-centre venue for them, as the Robinson Institute in Glaisdale has become.
This year, they also performed at Grassington Fringe, whose director Andy Thornton told them: “You were all absolutely brilliant!”
Further praise came from London tourist Paul Glinsman, one of 130 people who saw Raven at the Spa Suncourt in the summer.
He described them as “a cross between Dixie Chicks and Steeleye Span, with really beautiful voices and a brilliant variety of songs; totally enchanting and great fun – a wonderful evening”.
Raven’s Beiderbecke’s show is on Friday 11 November, at 8pm.
Tickets cost £5 and should be booked in advance by ringing 07757 765196.
l In case you were wondering unkindness is the collective noun for ravens.
