Beauty stars of the future are being asked to sign up for this year’s Miss Scarborough contest.
The event will take place at the Scarborough Fair Collection at Lebberston on Saturday April 12.
Entries need to be submitted by Sunday March 9 and should be made online at www,missengland.info - click on the box for “Regionals” at the top of the page and search under ‘S’ for Scarborough in the A to Z list.
You will need to send a snapshot of yourself and enclose your area, height, dress size and a telephone number to firstname.lastname@example.org or you enter online by clicking on the link online.
Entrants must live within a 60-mile radius of Scarborough.
The reigning Miss Scarborough is currently Laura Stone, a beauty salon owner from Whitby, who will be passing on her crown to this year’s winner.
Laura said she was delighted to be chosen to represent Scarborough and district and has attended a number of charity events during her year in the role.
Last year’s runners-up were Jess Gale, of Filey, and Amy Page, of York.
The winner of Miss Scarborough will get the chance to represent the town at this year’s Miss England finals in Torbay on June 14-16.
