Chance to join Rotary’s party

SCARBOROUGH Rotary Club celebrates its 90th anniversary at The Spa on Saturday – and would like as many people as possible to join them.

Following a drinks reception there will be a three-course dinner followed by a speaker, Tricia Stewart, who will tell her story as one of the original Calendar Girls. Entertainment is by Manhattan Voices.

The Rotary Club of Scarborough held its first meeting in Walters cafe in Westborough, which became the Gas Showrooms and is now the Brunswick Shopping Centre. The club has played an active role in the community, with many notable achievements including supporting many charities and worthwhile causes.

Anyone who would like to attend should email by 5pm tomorrow.
