Charity shop workers will be helping people to find a bargain and a new seasonal wardrobe at an upcoming family fun day.
Although traditionally held mid-week, this year St Catherine’s Hospice’s Falsgrave Shop will be holding its annual Spring Fashion Show on Saturday April 27 in a bid to entice more visitors.
The fundraiser, which will also feature children’s activities, tombola and various stalls, takes place at Westborough Methodist church, from 1pm.
Visitors can browse and buy home-baking, jewellery, gifts, books, CDs and clothing - including retro items for vintage fashionistas.
The fashion show, starting at 2pm, will showcase a mixture of ladies’, men’s and children’s fashion.
Organiser Liana Joy, deputy manageress at the Falsgrave hospice shop, said: “We have tried to cater for everyone and have brought in some fun games this year for the children such as guess the name of the teddy bear and a lucky dip.
”We’ve thought it would be great to move this event to a Saturday to get the whole family involved.”
Admission is £1.50 for adults, free for children. Refreshments provided.
