A stunning array of Christmas trees have been on show at St James’ Church as part of a festive fundraising event.
The festival featured decorated 32 trees and was organised by Scarborough Flower Club.
Trees were dressed by Flower Club members and people from local groups and businesses, including Imaginative Icing, the Stained Glass Centre, Shoreline Suncruisers and April Florist, among many others.
Alison Fenton, chairman of Scarborough Flower Club, said: “There were so many different themes and interpretations and all the trees looked fantastic.”
The event was attended by Scarborough’s deputy mayor and mayoress Joe and Margaret Plant on Friday and by mayor Pat Marsburg and mayoress Hilary Jones on Saturday.
Live entertainment was provided by Northstead School pupils and the Nora Wilson and Friends choir.
Proceeds from the event will go towards Scarborough Flower Club and St James’ Church funds.
