Fire crew called to skip fire outside The Sands on Scarborough's North Bay
Fire crews were called out to a fire outside The Sands complex on Scarborough's North Bay yesterday (Sunday January 5)
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 12.35pm.
Crews from Scarborough responded to reports of a skip on fire.
They extinguished the fire using one main jet and one hose reel jet.
The cause is believed to be a dropped light into the skip.
