An ambulace was called and she was taken to hospital where she was treated for superficial injuries.

Just a few hours earlier - at 9.15pm - firefighters had been called to help paramedics get into a house in Eastborough so that they could treat a woman inside.

Saturday night also saw crews called to put out a garden bonfire that was out of control at 10.53pm in East Ayton and alerted to a fire in the open near homes in Sandside in Scarborough at 6.08pm.

The team gave advice to the person who had started the Sandside fire and reported that it was under control.
