Flood warning issued for Scarborough.

This flood warning is in force for the high tide of 5.30pm to 7.30pm tonight.

The particular area of concern is Marine and Royal Albert Drive and the Spa in Scarborough.

An Environment Agency spokesman said: "This warning is in force as some overtopping and spray is expected due to strong winds and large waves."

Yesterday, a three-year-old was injured when a wave smashed a window of a car parked in Foreshore Road.
