VISITORS to a Scarborough shoe store were tickled pink at a special “Ladies’ Night” event.
The open evening at Brantano Footwear in Seamer Road raised £107.95 for St Catherine’s Hospice.
It featured stalls from local businesses and brands including Sunset Gym, Rumours, Elizabeth Arden and Christian Dior.
There was also 20 per cent off everything in the Brantano store. The shop also gave customers a preview of its new seasonal looks.
A raffle was held in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice.
The event was organised by Jackie Debenham and Wendy Temple, who were very pleased at how it went.
Katrina Crawford, assistant manager, said: “Everyone enjoyed it. We had a few nibbles out and everyone was smiling, which was great!
“We picked the hospice as a local charity we’d like to support and were pleased with the amount raised, especially as it was over just a few hours.”
The store is now planning a Senior Savers event for over 60s. People can ask in store for more information.
