Walkers were blessed with sunshine at this year’s Walk for Life in Scarborough.
The annual event, which sees participants walk from Peasholm Gap to the Spa Complex, attracted people of all ages and lots of four-legged friends.
It was a lovely day and thankfully the sun shone on us

Co-organiser Linda Tomczak said: “It was a lovely day and thankfully the sun shone on us.
“Lots of people brought their dogs - there were a few who came along with the team from Clifftop Kennels.”
Among the walkers was Scarborough’s mayor Cllr Pat Marsburg, who also helped give out creme eggs to youngsters taking part at the Toll House.
The walk had a fancy dress theme of Superheroes and many participants decided to dress for the occasion.
Linda has thanked everyone who took part and supported the event.
She is looking for an individual or group to come forward and run the event next year to ensure it continues.
