THE first ever Open Gardens at Ravenscar and Staintondale will take place on Saturday.
Eleven very different gardens will open their gates, offering views over unspoilt National Park.
Properties taking part include Moorland House, which also offers a rummage sale and rides on a miniature railway, and the famous Shire Horse Farm.
Refreshments, tombola, plant stall and toilets will be provided at various gardens.
Admission to the gardens will be by map, available on the day from St Hilda’s Church, in Ravenscar, between 11am and 3pm. Entries cost £3 per adult, children free with all proceeds in aid of the United Churches of Ravenscar and Staintondale.
