ENGINEERS from Northern Gas Networks are installing temporary four-way traffic lights at the junction of Falsgrave Road and Seamer Road from tomorrow as part of ongoing works to replace a short section of gas main in the area.
They will be working extended hours, seven days a week whenever possible to help minimise disruption and ensure the work is completed quickly and safely. The temporary lights will remain in place for up to a month.
It is business as usual for local shops and traders throughout the works as access is unaffected.
The scheme is part of the firm’s £417,000 investment to improve gas supplies to Scarborough.
