Two dementia support workers from Scarborough are celebrating May Bank Holiday by going more than a few extra miles to raise vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
Imogen Wormald and Julie Langley have set themselves fundraising challenges.
Imogen will be walking the Cinder Track from Scarborough to Whitby, covering an impressive 21 miles, while Julie is tackling the Driffield Triathlon, the first time she has taken part in such an event.
Imogen said: “I am really excited about doing my charity walk helping to support those with dementia.”
Julie said: “I’m taking part in this challenge because I’m passionate about making a difference to improve the lives of people with dementia, their families and friends.”
