Goth weekend in Whitby is in full swing as fans of the famous festival flocked to the town to embrace all things weird and wonderful in time for Halloween.
As goths made their way around the town they cut quite a spectacle in an array of costumes which stretched from Victorian to 1920s to dark twists on fairytale.
The cobbled streets, Abbey steps and the West Cliff were crammed with goths who were also enjoying the sights of Whitby, the pubs, clubs and bands as well as catching up with friends from far and wide who re-visit Whitby Goth Weekend year on year.
It also provided plenty of opportunity for photographers to capture the moments on camera.
The event continues tonight (Saturday) with live music at the Pavilion as well as fringe events at RAW nightclub and Abbey Wharf.
