Guide Alexandra raises £150 for Rainbow Centre
The Rainbow Centre has received a cheque for £150 after a Scarborough Guide embarked on a fundraising mission as part of her Baden-Powell Challenge award.
Alexandra Zammit, 14, has completed all ten clauses of the challenge and was presented with her award by Trish Kinsella at the Rainbow Centre on Castle Road.
This was the last act as a guide for Alexandra who will be too old to continue after the summer holidays.
Also leaving the Guiding Movement is Pauline Giddings who has been part of the organisation for more than 34 years.
