Hospital chief executive to step down

SCARBOROUGH Hospital’s chief executive Richard Sunley has announced he is to step down from the role.

From March 7 he will be taking up a secondment role at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Mike Proctor, deputy chief executive at York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, will be working at Scarborough as acting chief executive as the trusts work together on a merger.
