Eze Fitness staff and customers are celebrating a fantastic achievement by raising vital funds for Saint Catherine’s Hospice.
They took an Olympic challenge which involved local companies which sponsored items of equipment as well as putting teams forward to take part.
The team building event included: walking, running, cycling, rowing and cross training over the summer months and covered a distance of 2,012km per team.
Participants managed to raise a total of £7,254 for the charity – Each team member paid £30 to take part and some of the teams received match funding from their banks.
Carolyn Jackson, the hospice’s fundraising team leader thanked everyone at Eze Fitness for all their “dedication and hard work in generating such a fantastic amount which will go directly towards patient care at Saint Catherine’s”.
