YOUNG carers are invited to a first anniversary celebration event in Scarborough.
Scarborough and Ryedale Carers Resource has organised a get-together to mark the milestone for its Young Adult Carers Project 18-35.
The project received four years Big Lottery funding to support young adults who are providing unpaid care or support to a partner, relative or friend who has a physical or mental illness or disability or issues relating to substance misuse or age.
The anniversary event will be held at the Stephen Joseph Theatre on Thursday January 19 at 10am.
The event will be attended by the Scarborough mayor Cllr John Blackburn.
