PEOPLE went quackers yesterday for the sixth annual Duck Dash.
The charity event, which was held at Staindale Lake in Dalby Forest, was organised by the Friends of Dalby Forest group.
Chairman John Gibbs said: “It went really well. It was very well attended and everyone had a good time.
“We sold nearly 500 tickets and all of the cash prize winners were there on the day.”
In total, five duck races took place, with the quacky racers enjoying glorious sunshine at the event, a welcome contrast to last year when bad weather blighted the proceedings.
It is believed that between £300 and £400 was raised, which will go into the Friends of Dalby Forest group coffers.
