Scarborough Athletic boss Steve Kittrick is making plans to swiftly replace the club's all-time record goalscorer Ryan Blott.
Blott has opted to move to Pickering Town after nine years at the club, leaving Kittrick with only one recognised striker - Callum Robinson - on the books.
The Boro chief isn't panicking though, as he underlines that there are a good number of irons in the fire.
He said: "I wish Ryan all the best, though I know how touchy things are with fans when it comes to him.
"We did offer him a deal, one that gave him that opportunity to get himself fit and then we'd sort things out.
"In the meantime though his situation in his personal life had changed and because of that he decided to sign for Pickering.
"We will be making a number of signings ourselves soon, though there is no need to rush things.
"I'm currently talking to a lot of players, ones that will make us strong next season."
