Letter: Concern over proposals for South Bay site
I was interested to read of the concerns that Flamingo Land are raising in regard to well-being of their animals if fracking is to take place in close proximity to their theme park near Kirby Misperton. These concerns relate to noise, vibration, and heavy traffic, and these concerns are right and commendable.
However, it would seem that there are no such concerns when it applies to the South Bay residents’ homes and businesses in close proximity to their wish to develop (at considerable expense to the Scarborough taxpayers) a noisy funfair with giant roller coaster and tower purported to fire people many metres into the air for fun.
