Letter: Coxswain's recognition is long overdue
May I congratulate my old school friend Tommy Clark on his overdue recognition with the award of the MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List.
Scarborough is fortunate to have such a brave leader of an equally heroic lifeboat crew.
How many of us lesser mortals would volunteer to ride out into the raging seas often seen off our coast to rescue desperate mariners in distress?
