Letter: Do the decent thing, pick up after your dog
With reference to the article regarding dog fouling, as a resident of the Grenadier Drive/Green Howards Drive area in North Bay, the grassed area facing the sea is a daily exercise area for people with dogs.
Some owners do pick up after them others do not. Everyone should do the decent thing and watch where your dogs go, instead of letting them off the lead and pretending not to know what they have done.
The responsible ones take the offending bags home. There are no bins within sight of this huge area, next to the new waterpark development, either for dog dirt or general litter, but that is no excuse for then throwing the bags be they black, pink or blue into the bushes alongside the paths.
This is a beautiful area with fabulous views being spoiled for so many walkers and residents by the few - as ever!
