Have you signed up to The Employability Charter?

We are writing to you on behalf of schools from across the North Yorkshire Coast and surrounding area who would like to invite employers and organisations to engage and inspire their students and to support better preparing their students for the world of work/their next steps.

We have begun to collate activity that is taking place in schools and during this next term 4,000 students will be involved, and we would like to invite you on behalf of the schools to support some/all of the activity.

The activities featured in the Opportunities for Employers Calendar form part of our Successful Futures programme dedicated to supporting and engaging employers with education through Careers, STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) and Enterprise activity, part funded through Careers and Enterprise Company and funding we have received from Sirius Minerals, managed by NYBEP.

Successful Futures is a modular Careers, STEM and Enterprise programme designed to build long lasting partnerships between employers and schools.

Through a range of flexible activities that deliver multiple encounters with employers, it enables young people to acquire the skills and knowledge to better prepare them for the workplace; overcome barriers to learning and inspires and informs them to plan for and achieve a successful future.
