Letter: Why an eyesore right on your own seafront?

I have just been for a day trip to Bridlington and to be honest was amazed at the difference in investment between two similar seaside resorts.
Massive investment in Bridlington has left it by far ahead of Scarborough. I did think Scarborough Council were going to redevelop the site but no, it’s still there – rotting.

And just take a look around at other buildings that are also rotting, falling down or shut.

Scarborough Borough Council can’t be that bothered, in my opinion; the only explanation.
