Lifeboat rescue for family-of-three cut off by the tide

A family had to be rescued by Flamborough RNLI after being cut off by the incoming tide.

The rescue crew were called out at 3.36pm on Saturday to help the two adults and a child at Thornwick Bay.

The family were taken on board and back to shore at North Landing.
