She told The Scarborough News that it was very exciting to be finally publishing the book.
“Our story is built around the Stephen Joseph Theatre and Scarborough,” she said.
“My husband also worked extensively in the BBC Radio Repertory Company. Despite working in London we always kept a base here in Scarborough.
“In 1987 I accepted the position of director of drama at St Paul’s Girls’ School and taught their until my retirement.
“The story of the book traces our life together from the first day of our meeting and continues through to the present day. “There is obviously lots about the Stephen Joseph Theatre and the town in the book.”
Ronald died in 2004.
