Man follows woman and flashes her in broad daylight in Scarborough town centre

A man followed a woman through Scarborough town centre and flashed at her in broad daylight.

The incident happened at around 3.10pm on Tuesday (May 19) when the 46-year old-woman was followed from Poundstretcher, in Westwood, to St James Road.

The man, who was on foot, then exposed himself and performed a sexual act in front of her, causing her significant shock and distress.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who was in the area at the time and might have information about the incident is asked to contact police.

In particular, police would like to identify the man in the CCTV images and officers would also like to speak to the driver of a HGV skip hire lorry who stopped to offer assistance to the woman.
