Marathon cycle ride to help others

Nurse specialist Liz Cavanagh (pictured left) and ward administrator Sarah Crossland, who both work at Scarborough Hospital, will by cycling from London to Brussels via Amsterdam over four days in May 2014 - a total distance of 340 miles. Their aim is to raise £3,000 in much-needed funds for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent and the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group.

When sponsorship reaches the £500 mark, Liz has promised to shave off all her hair at a fundraising event.
