The naming rights for Scarborough Athletic's new stadium are up for grabs.
The stadium, which will be a focal point within the village, will be the brand new home for Scarborough Athletic Football Club (SAFC) and Scarborough Ladies Football Club, as well as a community-based facility for football and other sports.
SAFC’s eagerly anticipated opening fixture will take place on July 15, which will mark the club’s return to Scarborough after ten years.
The completion of Scarborough Sports Village, alongside new state of the art educational campuses for CU Scarborough and Scarborough UTC, represents an overall investment of around £50 million. The council is now seeking a commercial partner that recognises the significance of the investment and wants to benefit from the exposure a strong association with the development would bring.
The stadium naming rights would give the selected organisation the chance to be part of a new chapter in the town’s continuing success story, exploit new marketing opportunities and play a part in supporting the area’s football and sporting community.
Organisations interested in submitting a bid can download a proposal pack from the ‘tenders, contracts and procurement page’ at scarborough.gov.uk - the deadline for submitting bids is noon on Monday June 12.
If anyone has any queries or would like an informal discussion about the opportunity they should contact Procurement Manager, David Gomersall by emailing email@example.com or calling 01723 232344.
