North Yorkshire Police investigated over handling of child abuse intelligence
North Yorkshire is one of three police forces in England and Wales are to be investigated for their alleged failure to act on intelligence regarding child abuse images.

The force, along with Essex, North Wales, face an inquiry by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
The probe will examine how the three forces handled information passed to them by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), the IPCC said.
