The Olympic flame will pass through Filey on Monday, June 18.
The torch will start in Scarborough Road at 2.24pm before winding down the main route and onto Muston Road.
Three torchbearers will carry the flame through Filey - though none of them are from the town.
The celebration will finish in Muston Road, near Filey School, before heading further down the coast.
Paul Drake, 48, a Tesco store worker from Scarborough, has been chosen to run through Filey, and said he would do the town proud.
He added: “It would have been nice to run in my hometown, but I’m happy to run anywhere, as this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“I think it will bring a lot of money into Filey, and I think come the morning of June 18, there won’t be any space in the town.
“Everybody is going to want to come out and see it come through.”
Joining Mr Drake on the route will be Matthew Wollias from Hull and Robert Reid from Beverley.
It has not been revealed if anyone from Filey was nominated to carry out the honour of leading the torch through the town.
