Letter: Transport link is a lifeline

With much debate at present about discrimination, how about the discrimination shown by the withdrawal of the number 15 route?
Bus service is a lifeline, not an indulgence.Bus service is a lifeline, not an indulgence.
Bus service is a lifeline, not an indulgence.

This will deprive those who have reached bus pass age and especially those who, through failing sight or mobility, need the bus as a lifeline, not an indulgence. This applies to a large proportion of the population along the route and surely a compromise can be found: an hourly run to alternate with the X93, or a small charge for each journey.

The generation that use this bus route have worked hard and paid their taxes and deserve consideration, not discrimination.
