The golden coffin of Sir Jimmy Savile was carried into the Queens Hotel in Leeds today where the public can file past and pay their respects to the broadcasting legend ahead of his funeral in the city tomorrow.
Sir Jim will then be buried in Woodlands Cemetery in Scarborough. The cortege will travel along the seafront so people can pay their respects before continuing to the cemetery.
The veteran DJ, who had a home on the Esplanade, died at his apartment in Roundhay, Leeds, two days before his 85th birthday.
