Bridlington woman set to be ordained as Deacon at York Minster ceremony

A Bridlington woman is one of 15 people set to be ordained Deacon by the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell, in a service in York Minster on Saturday, June 26.

She grew up in Bristol in a Christian family where faith was always a part of life; she first felt a calling towards Christian ministry and leadership at York University. For the last three years she has trained at Cranmer Hall.

Miriam said: “I am excited to be moving to Bridlington for curacy and joining the team as they join in with the exciting ways God is moving in their communities. I am looking forward to getting alongside people and encouraging them in their walks with God.”
