Two Scarborough brothers have taken on a mammoth running challenge to support Saint Catherine’s.

Josh and Sam Westmoreland were due to be running the Great North Run, but with the event postponed, they have changed their plans and are now taking on a new fundraising challenge – the Great North Run SOLO.

Josh, who works as a cook at Saint Catherine’s, said: “We are running in memory of our Auntie Rhona, who was cared for at the hospice and the whole family were very grateful for the amazing care and support provided to her in her last months.

“We are so grateful to each person that has donated so far with over £800 already raised.”
