Elvis Fan Club Scarborough boosts total funds for NHS by more than £1,500

An auction held by the Elvis Fan Club Scarborough and the Mark Summer's tribute gig raised £14,000.

The Elvis Fan Club Scarborough helped raised funds for NHS

The gig was streamed on the club Facebook site across the UK and to members in Memphis and Australia and Europe.

Money was donated online direct to the NHS with £1,550 raised by the auction.

The auction had the support of Rod Stewart.

A message was received from Elvis' head of security Dick Grob in Las Vegas saying ' Proud of Ya'.

Other celebrities also sent their best wishes including Cliff Richard, Marco Pierre White, Willie Morgan, Gaynor Morgan and Anne Marie.
