Firefighters cut six rings off fingers of elderly Scarborough woman

An elderly woman in Scarborough needed firefighters to cut off six rings that were causing her pain.

Scarborough Fire Station's tactical response vehicle was called to a nursing home on Filey Road at 11.23am yesterday (Monday) to help the woman.

The team used a ring cutter to remove the jewellery from her hand.
