Free workouts for Scarborough and Filey residents
A Scarborough-based fitness company which provides bootcamp style workouts in and around the town is encouraging people to take part in their free exercises during lockdown.
Inclusive Fitness is a bootcamp style fitness company run by brothers Paul and Alex Sharp and friend Lee Batty.
Paul and Alex work for the NHS and Lee is an operations manager for Dale Power Solutions, but outside of that they run fitness bootcamps six times a week for their members.
Paul said "We have a very loyal and active group of members who were all fired up to get started in January with their fitness regimen. On January 4 we ran our first session of the new year then the next day lockdown came and everyone felt very disheartened.
"We knew we had to do something quick to keep everyone motivated and so we came up with a couple of ideas to keep people exercising and get them out in the fresh air.
"Our members have got right behind us with the initiative, we have such a fantastic team of people who support us and are willing to try anything we throw at them.
"The first option is 'Audio Booty', a pre-recorded workout that you can listen to that I have recorded where I take you to various locations and coach you along the way, talking you through the exercises. It is like having a personal trainer in your ear.
"Secondly, people can workout by following signs that we have posted up, the first notice will give you the basic warm up and then tell you where to go to get the next part of the workout, for instance hill sprints.
"We are releasing new locations every week so people need to follow the Inclusive Facebook page to see new routes."
All of the workouts are completely free and all they ask is that you tag them in a selfie on facebook if you take part in one of the workouts to help the community grow.
